It is worth noting that about 12% of Ghana's population are persons with disability, which a large number of them are often regarded as unproductive and incapable of contributing in a positive way in the society. Instead of being viewed as assert they are rather seen as constituting an economic burden on families and the society at large which leaves them with various cycle if poverty
